Meet Taylor, one of our full- time Veterinary Assistants. Taylor joined the clinic in May and is excited to embrace Veterinary medicine as that is her end goal. Taylor graduated from Trent University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with honors. In 2024 Taylor plans on attending Veterinary College to become a licensed DVM.

Taylor was born and raised in Omemee Ontario and lives in a household of five, with her parents, sister, and boyfriend. At home she lives with many four-legged friends including their one dog, Duke, three cats, Marco, Patrick, and Oliver, and their aquarium full of many tropical fish.

Throughout University Taylor worked at the Riverview Park and Zoo as a Zookeeper and at PetSmart Peterborough as an animal care specialist. Over the years Taylor has gained experience caring for the health and welfare of many exotic and household animals. Taylor is passionate about maintaining a high level of animal care and dedicated to providing exceptional service to patients and clients.
