Ariah has always had a deep passion for animal care, a love she credits to her incredibly supportive and tolerant parents, who encouraged her interests from a young age. This animal-loving spirit runs in the family, with her grandmother also sharing a lifelong dedication to animals.
She was raised in a home with three shelties, guinea pigs, hamsters, and bunnies a connection to animals that was fostered early on. Throughout high school, she worked at a local clinic as a kennel attendant, which further fueled her passion. It was all these childhood experiences that made choosing veterinary medicine as her career an easy decision.
After graduating from the Veterinary Technologist program at St. Lawrence College in 2015, Ariah began her dream career as a registered technician. She has been fortunate to gain varied experiences from clinics that have helped her learn, grow, and practice good veterinary medicine.
Moving to her current home has brought her to Millbrook Valley Animal Hospital. Her kindness and calm presence are strengths she lends to her team. Her affection and gentle manner always shine through when caring for her patients. She shows compassion and empathy to all her clients. She is truly a wonderful asset to our team.
Ariah was born and raised in Northumberland County, where she lives with her husband Eric, her two children, Norah and Colson, and their three fur babies, Moose, Teddi, and Mannie. Their home is lively, full of love, and exactly as she’s always wanted it. When Ariah isn’t at work caring for her patients, she enjoys spending time outdoors, visiting the cottage, and hiking with her family and trips to the zoo to connect with the larger animals she adores.
