Dr. Kate Gyselinck joined our team in April as one of our fulltime DVMs as well as our clinic’s Medical Director. Dr. Kate (as most refer to her) studied Biomedical Sciences at the University of Guelph as an undergraduate degree and graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2010 with honours. She has spent the past 13 years practicing in a small animal practice and emergency clinic in Durham region.
For those who know her, know Dr. Kate is in her “happy place” when in the OR. She loves to do a wide variety of soft tissue surgeries ranging from routine spays/neuters, to more advanced procedures like cystotomy and GI surgeries. When not in the OR, Dr. Kate loves meeting all your furry family members and helping them live their healthiest and happiest lives possible.
Dr. Kate, her husband Bill Stock, and her two children William and Charlotte split their time between Millbrook and Bowmanville after purchasing a rural property in Millbrook in 2021. They share their lives with a bunch of furry family members which includes their three dogs – Maybull, Rupert and Roscoe, two cats Spaghetti and Sprinkles, and two guinea pigs Halo and Creeper. When not running around to different sporting events for William and Charlotte, they love exploring the outdoors hiking, swimming, paddle boarding, fishing, and pretty much any other outdoor activity.
